I'm so happy that they have brought back magic to the Sims, but I have to tell you if you don't read up on how to get started in the realm of magic you could get a bit frustrated like I did. When I first went to the realm of magic I could not get the option (How to use magic) to come up. I thought there was something wrong with my game, but then I noticed that the spell book would be in the same place as the mermaids needs which meant you can't be both at the same time. Spell-casting There are four magical schools in Realm of Magic and you learn them all. All spells you learn are keep in you spell book. Be careful a failed magical acts, including drinking potions result in curses. There are a number of curses, and a Sim can have up to three at one time. You have a grand total of 24 spells you can learn learn.  Tomes can be bought at Caster's Alley and tomes can be found in the Magic HQ's libraries, Select a bookshelf and pick, "Search for Tomes"

1. Create-a-Sim  2. In Game  If you’d rather become a mermaid in game then all you need to do is head over to Mua Pel’Am within Sulani. When you arrive here, head to the plot of land that’s next to the waterfall. You can get mermaid kelp here or you can dive for it but it also might take a while like it did for me. To change back just get the mermaid kelp 2 times.

 Causes of Death   Death by Meteorite   Death by Drowning - You can drown in any part of the ocean just like it can in swimming pools. Death by Fire - Sims who use the “Try to Touch” interaction on Volcanic Bombs you have the chance of burning to death. Old Age will kill you but you can also die from jogging, Woohoo, or perform other strenuous activities, it's called overexertion, so you need to be careful when you are in your old age. Overexertion- Jogging, Using a weight machine, Woo Hooing, Strenuous cleaning Fire- Stove, Electronics, or a Rocket Ship Crash. Drowning- once a Sim has become exhausted, and they'll eventually die. Starvation- hunger need is not met your sims will die it takes a couple of days to starve a Sim. Electrocution- upgrade or repair can get shocked try to repair again and you might just die. Cow Plant- First time you get eaten you will not die, but take take cake again and you will. Sauna - Stay in the sauna to long and you will
