You now study microfossils, the fossils that require a microscope to analyze. Micropaleontology provides information into the microorganisms that exist in an environment to render data for climate science, evolution, and even for archeological research. $385 a day.

Paleoecology 

You now study ecosystems reconstructed from the study of various lifeforms found in a geological system. The investigative approach taken provides insight into the stability of ecosystems and interaction between organisms. $ 462 a day.

Paleoclimatology 

 You now study climates before the advent of human measurements. Studying past climates affords insight into current trends and the impact of existing ecosystems. $539 a day.

Paleobiogeography 

You now study the geographical dispersion of living things. Through studying the shifts in the earth’s crust scientists can identify speciation across the globe. $1425 a day.
