The Sims 4 Bust the Dust Kit Game Play Look Over

The Sims 4 Bust the Dust Kit gives us a new way to play more of a day-to-day life. Now have a cleanliness level based on Sims vacuuming and how clean they keep their home. I see with this kit there is a lot that goes into this new cleanliness system and also how the levels of cleanliness will affects Sims with different traits.

There are four different levels of cleanliness, which are clean, dusty, dirty and filthy.

Clean: When you first load your game your home will be clean. You will occasional see a sparkle coming from the floor. Your sim will get a positive moodlet.

Dusty: Dusty homes will have light layers of dust around the house, and you will start to see some dust bunnies appear in dusty areas of the house. I know I got a small tune that played when I got the very first dust bunny.

Dirty:
If your Sim doesn't clean up the dust your home will go from dust to dirty, which will put your sims in a negative state. Your Sims will get more dust piles, lot more dust bunnies, and more dirt covering the floor, and just one more little thing your sims will be able to see the dust floating in the air.

Filthy:
A filthy sims house will be covered in lots of dirt and grim with dust piles all over the place. The dust will be floating in the air, those cute dust bunnies will disappear and will be replaced with filth fiends they are mean and nasty dust monster that can cause chaos in your Sims house.

Dust Bunnies: These are the cute guys that start to show up when your sims house is in the dusty state. These dust bunnies have button eyes and light brow noses. So these guys are good and help you find money every so often. They are characterized by their button eyes and light brown noses. They can be befriended and find help find valuable items for your Sims, also these guys have a happiness level. You can see this by hovering the cursor over them.

How you can interact with the dust bunnies....

You must get their happiness level up if you want to befriend or pet.

Befriend: Once you have gotten a dust bunnies happiness level up to befriend it the dust bunnies will not disappear when the house is cleaned, they become a dust bunny pet. I think you can only have three dust bunnies since that's all I got and no more showed up.

Step On: If for some reason you just don't want that dust bunny you can step on them and they will disappear, your sims might be in a sad mood after do that.

Name: This allows you to name the dust bunny. A random cute default name will pop up when you choose to name your dust bunny. You can keep that name if you like it or replace it with a new name of your choosing.

Feed Dust: Feeding dust bunnies raises their happiness level. There is a short cool-down period for this interaction but dust bunnies can be fed quite frequently.

Ask to Search for Valuables: You will always be able to ask a dust bunny this, but you need to remember the happier there are the better valuables that bring back, which can be simoleons, upgrade parts, or collectibles. Happy dust bunnies find better valuables.

Pet: Sims will pick up the dust bunny and cuddle it, this will get you closer to befriending the dust bunny.

Vacuum: So if you have a vacuum in your Sims home or in your Sims inventory you can use it to clean up and get rid of the dust bunnies, but remember if you vacuum the dust bunnies will disappear forever will This interaction is another way to get rid of dust bunnies.

Filth Fiends: You will start to see these filth bunnies when you have reach the filthy state. These bunnies are mean and hard to get along with, they have a mischief level and I must worn you that if you leave them for to long they can combust which can cause fire!

How you can interact with the filth fiends....

The interaction I did not talk about are the same as the dust bunnies.

Appease: If you do this you can bring down their mischief level. There is a cool-down for this but it's not that long.

Try to Pet: your sims will begin to pet the bunny but it will fail and then they just get to scared to do it again.

Ask to Rummage for Clutter:  If your filth fiend's mischief level is high it will bring your Sim something useful but if not you will just get more trash.

Befriend: This can only be done if you have the filth dweller trait and once you do it's just like the dust bunnies.

Beg for Mercy: This is just what it sound like your Sim will be beg for filth fiend to lower their mischief level.
